Jr. Officer Security &CCTV Operation

Job Title:

Objective

To ensure the security of materials, vehicles, visitors, and employees at the plant through proper CCTV operation, monitoring, and analysis, along with conducting necessary security checks and preventive measures.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor CCTV systems 24/7, ensuring system functionality, data management, and user support.
  
• Record and report observations, conduct preventive and breakdown maintenance of the system.
  
• Promptly communicate and escalate any accidents, intrusions, or suspicious activities observed on CCTV to security, fire, and concerned departments.
  
• Handle communication, follow-ups, and maintain documentation/data control as required.
  
• Check and monitor visitors, vehicles, and their movement; attend phone calls; complete tasks listed in the shift checklist.
  
• Conduct regular physical inspections of property to ensure compliance with security policies and regulations.
  
• Support internal/external audits, governmental reviews, and corporate evaluations regarding security processes.
  
• Supervise security guards at various gates and ensure compliance with assigned duties.
  
• Maintain all security department records, forms, and reports.
  
• Verify and record permit systems at the plant.
  
• Train and guide security guards; maintain records of training.
  
• Collaborate with Assistant Manager – Security in selection and onboarding of guards/contract workers.
  
• Respond to emergencies (including rendering first aid), coordinate with relevant departments, and maintain updated records of emergency contacts.
  

Competencies

Education

• Essential:

  12th Pass / Graduate (Any discipline)

• Desirable:

  Postgraduate + Diploma/Training in Security/Safety procedures

Work Experience

• Essential:

  1–3 years of hands-on experience in CCTV system monitoring/installation and security operations in a manufacturing industry.

• Desirable:

  3–5 years of CCTV/security experience + prior military/defense service training.

Knowledge

• CCTV operation, installation, and maintenance.
  
• Industrial safety procedures, first aid, and fire-fighting techniques.
  
• (Desirable) Use of small arms, hand-to-hand combat, etc.
