Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Kolkata for a Jr. MERN Stack Developer. The selected candidate will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining web applications using the MERN stack. Day-to-day tasks will include writing clean and efficient code, collaborating with cross-functional teams, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring optimal performance of applications. They will also assist in developing user interfaces and work to improve user experience through innovative solutions.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in JavaScript, MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js
• Understanding of frontend development including HTML, CSS, and responsive web design
• Experience with backend RESTful API creation and database management
• Problem-solving skills, debugging, and testing capabilities
• Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git
• Eagerness to learn, collaborate with teams, and adapt to new technologies
• Knowledge of industry trends and best practices in web development
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred but not required
