Jr. Android Developer

Role Overview:

We’re on the lookout for a Jr. Android Developer (0.5–1 year of experience) who’s eager to grow, experiment, and make a real impact. You’ll be designing and developing Android apps that power engaging learning experiences for students around the world. What You’ll Do:

• Build and maintain smooth, high-performance Android apps.

• Work hand-in-hand with designers and product managers to turn ideas into features.

• Debug, squash bugs, and continuously improve performance.

• Write clean, maintainable code (your future self will thank you!).

• Stay ahead of the curve by exploring the latest Android trends & tools.

• Collaborate in code reviews to share knowledge and raise the bar.

• Support app launches and ensure everything runs like clockwork.

What We’re Looking For:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.

• Experience: 0.5–1 years of hands-on Android development.

• Solid skills in Java (Kotlin is a bonus).

• Experience with Android SDK, Android Studio, APIs, and third-party libraries.

• Familiarity with REST APIs and app-to-server integrations.

• Understanding of MVVM/MVP and Jetpack components.

• Comfortable with Git & Gradle.

• Awareness of Material Design principles.

• Bonus if you’ve tinkered with Firebase, Push Notifications, or Analytics.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience with unit/UI testing (JUnit, Espresso).

• Exposure to Agile workflows (Scrum/Kanban).

• Interest in EdTech and shaping the future of learning.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹420,000.00 per year
