Job Description: Junior Accounts Executive

Location: Thane Wagle Estate

Employment Type: Full-Time

Position Overview: Target Learning Ventures is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Junior AccountsExecutive to manage the day-to-day accounting operations and ensure compliance withstatutory and financial regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting knowledge,hands-on experience with taxation, and the ability to manage month-end processesindependently.

Key Responsibilities

1. Daily Accounting OperationsOversee and manage the daily functioning of the accounting department.Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and completeness of financial records.

2. Month-End & Year-End ActivitiesHandle month-end and year-end closing processes.Prepare financial reports, MIS statements, and reconciliations.Ensure books are closed accurately and within deadlines.

3. Accounts Payable & Accounts ReceivableManage vendor invoices, payments, and credit notes.Monitor customer billing, collections, and follow-ups.Reconcile AP/AR ledgers regularly to avoid discrepancies.

4. Cash ManagementOversee cash receipts and daily cash flow tracking.Maintain accurate records of bank transactions and prepare bank reconciliations.

5. General Ledger ManagementEnsure proper posting of journal entries.Maintain, update, and reconcile the general ledger.Perform periodic ledger reviews to identify errors or inconsistencies.

6. Taxation & Statutory CompliancePrepare and file GST returns (monthly/quarterly/annual).Handle TDS calculations, deductions, and return filings.Maintain statutory records and ensure compliance with tax laws.

7. ROC & Regulatory WorkCoordinate with Company Secretary for ROC filings and statutory documentation.Ensure compliance with Companies Act requirements.

8. Audit SupportAssist internal and statutory auditors during audits.Provide required schedules, documentation, and reconciliations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

● Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

● Minimum 6 months - 2 years of experience in accounting roles.

● Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and basic corporate compliance.

● Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or similar).

● Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

● Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹18,000.00 per month
