Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Joinery Drafter with strong expertise in millwork and woodworking to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience creating precise shop drawings, interpreting architectural plans, and collaborating closely with designers, engineers, and production teams to deliver high-quality joinery solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare accurate and detailed shop drawings, cutting lists, and assembly diagrams for custom joinery and millwork projects.

Review architectural/ID drawings and translate them into manufacturable designs.

Maintain drafting standards, ensuring precision and adherence to project timelines.

Resolve technical issues, propose design improvements, and coordinate with clients or consultants when required.

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of experience as a Drafter in joinery, woodworking, or millwork.

Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar drafting software like

Microvellum, Cabinet Vision, 2020 Design, etc.

Strong understanding of woodworking materials, joinery techniques, and hardware.

Ability to read and interpret detailed architectural and interior design drawings.

Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work under tight deadlines.

Good communication skills to coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

Diploma/Degree in Interior Design, BE Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).

Familiarity with manufacturing processes and CNC machining is a plus
