Key Responsibilities: A. Plant Operations Operate and monitor Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) and Reverse Osmosis (RO) Plant Daily. Record and maintain parameters like pH, TDS, BOD, COD, TSS, Flow rate, etc. Start and Shut down blowers, pumps, valves and dosing systems as per SOPs. Conduct backwashing, membrane flushing and dosing as needed. Ensure treated water quality is within prescribed limits as per PCB norms. Handling the inlet and outlet water parameters in the RO and STP Plant. Also take care of the water disposal in the garden as per GPCB guidelines. B. Preventive & Routine Maintenance Perform basic cleaning, greasing and tightening of mechanical parts. Check and replace filters, resins and chemical levels as required. Co-ordinate with technicians for motor, pump and panel servicing. C. Chemical Handling Handle and dose coagulants, disinfectants and pH correction chemicals safely. Maintain chemical usage logs and ensure proper storage and labeling. Follow proper PPE protocol while handling hazardous substances. D. Reporting & Documentation Maintain daily logbooks, shift reports and maintenance records. Assist in preparing monthly performance reports. Report abnormalities, breakdowns or alarm conditions to supervisions immediately. F. Safety & Compliance Follow all safety protocols, including confined space, electrical and chemical safety. Always wear proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
