Responsibilities: Project Planning & Design: Conduct thorough site investigations, feasibility studies, and technical analyses (including geotechnical, hydrological, and topographical data) to assess project viability and inform design decisions. Collaborate with clients, architects, and other engineering disciplines to understand project requirements, scope, and budgetary constraints. Develop detailed engineering designs, blueprints, and technical specifications using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit) and other relevant tools. Prepare comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget estimates. Must have in experienced to coordinate with Government officials. Construction Management & Supervision: Oversee and manage construction activities from inception to completion, ensuring strict adherence to design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations. Monitor project progress, identify potential issues (from beginning to final execution) and minimum or no scope for rectification, improvisation and provide creative and effective solutions to emerging problems or deficiencies. Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and regulatory authorities to ensure efficient project execution and responsible for timely delivery of materials and equipment. Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks to verify compliance with engineering designs, building codes, and industry standards. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, site diaries, change orders, and quality control measures. Prepare and present technical reports, project status updates, and presentations to stakeholders, clients, and management on daily basis. The senior civil engineer is responsible and liable to ensure all projects comply with relevant local, state, and national legal requirements, including permits, safety protocols, and environmental regulations. Technical Expertise & Problem Solving: Apply sound engineering principles and mathematical/physics concepts to analyse and resolve complex technical challenges in respect to design and budget. Assess potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project delays and cost overruns. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff and project teams. Make sure to adhere all the budgetary information must have to apply analytical mind before the execution to avoid extra monetary burdens. Collaboration & Communication: Work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment, fostering strong communication and collaboration with internal teams, clients, and external partners. Confidently liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and other professionals to ensure clear understanding and alignment on project goals. Qualifications: B.Tech and M.Tech in Civil Engineering from an accredited university. Professional Engineer (PE) license/registration preferred. 5 to 10 Years of progressive experience in civil engineering, with a focus on project evaluation, expansion, entire execution, structural, ramification, transportation, water resources, construction management etc. Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit). Strong knowledge of engineering principles, construction methods, materials, and relevant industry regulations and building codes. Excellent project management, organizational, and time management skills. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Candidate with minimum super vision an extra ordinary result will be preferred.
