1. Invoice Preparation and Processing Generate accurate invoices based on purchase orders, delivery notes, or service agreements. Ensure timely billing as per company and client requirements. Apply correct GST or applicable taxes as per law. 2. Payment Collection and Tracking Follow up with customers for pending payments. Maintain records of received payments and update the system accordingly. Reconcile payment discrepancies and resolve billing issues. 3. Documentation and Record-Keeping Maintain organized records of invoices, receipts, credit/debit notes, and customer communications. File and store hard or soft copies of bills for audit and compliance purposes. 4. Coordination Coordinate with sales, accounts, and dispatch teams for smooth billing and delivery. Communicate with clients regarding billing queries and clarifications. 5. Reporting Prepare daily/weekly/monthly billing reports for management. Monitor outstanding balances and aging reports. 6. Compliance and Audit Support Ensure all billing practices comply with tax regulations and internal policies. Assist in audits by providing necessary billing documentation and explanations. 7. Software and System Use Operate billing/accounting software like Tally, ERP, or any customized platform. Ensure data accuracy and timely software updates.
