Weaving Supervisor

Job description:

• Weaving supervisor should be aware of the looms and machinery in that particular shed. Their function, positive / negative sides, how to operate, it`s maintenance schedule and best of the outcome.
• He must be capable to direct, educate his juniors how best the looms can produce the best quality and production.
• He should be aware of the qualities running in that shed, the count/ den of warp & weft.
• He should be aware the details of the particulars i.e. loom width, loom speed, sorts running at that loom, reed/ pick, Reed space, total ends, beam length, time to run out the beam.
• He must have the quality conception of the shed. What Management expects, what is the maximum possible outcome and why?
• He must be aware the day by day Production efficiency of the shed. He should aware what the target vs. is achieved. If target not achieved, then why? How best the target can be achieved?
• He should aware of the breakage studies and the causes of breakages. He should be aware what the remedies are and how to minimize the breakage rate. Proper feed back to previous dept / Management is must to improve the qualities.
• He must know the fabric defect, their causes and remedies. Should be able to guide the jobbers, weavers, fitters how best the fabric defect can be minimised.

Qualification and skills

• Diploma in textile technology is mandatory.
• 1-2 yrs as weaving supervisory experience

The Weaving Supervisor is a job role in Weaving department. The responsibility of supervisor is to ensure production as per specified quality and productivity level while maintaining cohesive team of performing with commitment. He also ensures keeping in order the safety and security of workplace and working in compliance with organization policies and practices.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
