We require an experienced IT Manager to oversee the technology framework of our expanding retail business. This position is pivotal to ensuring smooth and secure IT operations across our head office and retail branches in Bettiah, Motihari, Muzaffarpur, and other upcoming locations. You will be responsible for managing a centrally governed IT environment that includes backend servers, multi-location networks, firewalls, POS terminals, user devices, IP phones, surveillance systems, and digital communication platforms. As IT Manager, you will collaborate with department heads and work closely with senior leadership to implement scalable, efficient, and secure IT solutions. Your role will include hands-on support and long-term planning around system upgrades, data protection, and business continuity. You will also lead IT infrastructure rollouts for new store openings, ensuring all setups are standardized and compliant with internal policies and best practices. This is a key role for someone who is technically strong, self-motivated, and proactive in anticipating and solving problems. You’ll be expected to manage outsourced technicians and service providers, as well as internal day-to-day IT needs, while developing long-term strategies aligned with business goals. Key Technical Skills & Experience Required Strong knowledge of Windows Server (2019+) , especially Active Directory (AD DS), DNS, DHCP, Group Policies , and domain administration. Experience managing Microsoft 365 for business — including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, email policies, and signature management . Familiarity with Microsoft Intune or similar MDM/EMS solutions for endpoint and mobile device management. Solid understanding of Fortinet firewalls , including VLANs, SD-WAN, VPNs , and network segmentation for multiple branches. Knowledge of IP telephony , especially with Grandstream phones and PBX systems . Experience with Synology NAS , RAID configurations, and data backup strategies. Comfortable with POS systems (preferably Ginesys ) and their integration across multi-location retail environments. Exposure to CCTV/NVR systems , smart printers (HP/Epson), and secure Wi-Fi setups. Understanding of IT asset management, license tracking, vendor coordination , and AMC management. Familiarity with end-user training and supporting both technical and non-technical staff. Additional Qualities Excellent troubleshooting and documentation skills. Strong sense of responsibility and integrity, especially when managing sensitive business data. Ability to explain IT concepts clearly to stakeholders and adapt solutions to business needs. Willingness to travel to branches for setup, maintenance, and audits.
