Reporting To: Medical Superintendent / Chief Medical Officer

We are seeking a qualified and compassionate MBBS with respective department specialization Doctors to join our Outpatient Department (OPD) team. The role involves providing primary consultations, diagnosing common illnesses, prescribing treatments, referring to specialists when needed, and ensuring high-quality patient care in a hospital setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct clinical consultations with walk-in or pre-registered OPD patients.
• Take detailed medical histories, perform physical examinations, and order diagnostic tests as required.
• Diagnose and manage a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions within the scope of general practice.
• Prescribe appropriate medications, lifestyle advice, and follow-up plans.
• Refer patients to specialists or for inpatient admission when needed.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, prescriptions, and consultation notes.
• Educate patients and families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and treatment plans.
• Collaborate with nursing staff, lab personnel, and other departments for comprehensive care.
• Participate in quality improvement activities, audits, and training programs as directed by hospital management.

• Strong clinical acumen and decision-making skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Empathy and patient-centered approach to care.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Work Schedule:

• Full-time, [mention shifts if applicable]
• OPD hours: [e.g., 9 AM – 5 PM]
• May include weekend or rotational duties as per hospital policy.

Qualifications:

• MBBS degree from a recognized university/institution with respective department specialization
• Valid registration with the State Medical Council / MCI.
• 1–3 years of experience in clinical practice preferred (Freshers with good communication skills may also apply).
