Job Title: Hospital Receptionist

Job Summary:

We are looking for a courteous and efficient Receptionist to be the first point of contact for patients and visitors at our hospital. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a professional appearance, and the ability to multitask in a busy hospital environment. The receptionist will manage patient appointments, answer queries, direct visitors, and support administrative tasks

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients, visitors, and vendors in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Register patients for OPD and diagnostic services using the hospital management system (HMS).
  • Manage patient appointments, rescheduling, and cancellations.
  • Handle incoming phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries with clarity and professionalism.
  • Guide patients regarding departments, doctors’ availability, and hospital procedures.
  • Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and administrative staff to ensure smooth patient flow.
  • Collect consultation or registration fees and issue receipts.
  • Maintain cleanliness and order at the front desk area.
  • Handle emergency cases with calmness and ensure quick communication to relevant departments.
  • Maintain and update patient records and appointment logs accurately.
  • Qualifications:
  • Minimum Graduation in any stream preferred.

Basic computer skills and familiarity with hospital software (HMS).

  • Prior experience in hospital/clinic reception or customer service is an advantage.
  • Skills and Competencies:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in English, Hindi, and local language.

Strong interpersonal and customer service orientation

Work Schedule:
