Job Title: SQL Developer

Experience: 6-10 Years

Job Location: Kolkata, West Bengal

Job Summary:

An SQL Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining databases. They write and optimize SQL queries to ensure data is stored, retrieved, and managed efficiently to support applications and business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, create, and maintain databases
Write, test, and optimize SQL queries, views, functions, and stored procedures
Ensure data accuracy, security, and integrity
Improve database performance and troubleshoot issues
Work with developers, analysts, and other teams to understand data requirements
Perform data backups and recovery when needed
Document database structures and processes

Required Skills:

Strong knowledge of SQL
Experience with database systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or SQL Server
Understanding of database design and normalization
Ability to analyze and optimize query performance
Basic knowledge of data security and access control

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (sometimes optional)
Experience in database development or data-related roles.
