Bachelor's degree in Business, Agriculture, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Experience:
2-5 years in agricultural commodity procurement, preferably rice.
Skills:
Ability to travel frequently for vendor visits and market assessments

Job Summary:

Rice Purchase Executive

Key Responsibilities:

Procurement:

Source and procure different varieties of rice and paddy (e.g., Basmati, Non-Basmati, Parboiled, Raw).
Evaluate and select reliable suppliers/farmers/millers based on price, quality, service, and reliability.
Negotiate contracts and terms of purchase to ensure cost-effective deals.

Quality Control:

Coordinate with the quality control team to ensure the procured rice meets quality specifications.
Conduct regular visits to Supplier facilities or mills for quality checks and relationship management.

Market Analysis:

Monitor market trends, price fluctuations, and supply-demand conditions.
Maintain a database of prevailing prices, vendor performance, and market intelligence.
