Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Sales Manager to lead our sales operations and drive account growth. This role is instrumental in managing client relationships, executing sales strategies, adding new principal suppliers, and ensuring the team meets revenue targets. The ideal candidate will be proactive, results-driven, and skilled in balancing customer expectations with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Execution & Strategy

  • Develop and implement sales plans preferable with product technical knowledge to achieve business targets
  • Lead forecasting, budgeting, and performance tracking
  • Drive pricing strategies and promotional campaigns based on market insights
  • Acquire new principal suppliers and expand the product portfolio

Customer Account Management

  • Manage and grow customer accounts, ensuring satisfaction and retention
  • Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities to maximize account value
  • Serve as a key point of contact for client queries, escalations, and feedback

Reporting & Analysis

  • Prepare regular sales reports, pipeline updates, and performance dashboards
  • Analyse customer data and market trends to inform strategic decisions
  • Monitor competitor activity and provide actionable insights

Team Coordination & Support

  • Supervise and mentor sales staff, ensuring alignment with goals
  • Facilitate training sessions and performance reviews
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless service delivery

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelors / Master degree in Science (Chemical study), Business, Marketing, or related field
5–7 years of experience in sales or account management, preferably in Coatings industry

Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
Proficiency in Oracle, CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite will be added advantage Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines under pressure

Location: Chennai and Bangalore

Department: Sales & Business Development - Coatings Department

Reports To: Sales Manager

Position Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Executive to join our team. This role is pivotal in driving revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and ensuring seamless execution of the sales cycle—from lead generation to payment collection.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation & Prospecting:

    Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through market research, networking, and outreach strategies.
  • Client Engagement:

    Conduct meetings with prospective and existing clients to understand their needs, present solutions, and build long-term relationships.
  • Sales Negotiation:

    Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions to close deals that align with company objectives and customer expectations.
  • Order & Payment Coordination:

    Ensure timely order processing and follow up on customer payments to maintain healthy cash flow and client accountability.
  • Market Intelligence:

    Stay informed on product developments, industry trends, and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Reporting & Forecasting:

    Maintain accurate records of sales activities and provide regular updates on pipeline status, forecasts, and performance metrics.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience in B2B or B2C sales,
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple client accounts and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset
