Job Description

Dear Candidate ,

We hiring for Qa Engineer.

Location: Chennai

Exp: 4 to 7yrs

Job Responsibilities

Understand and analyze project requirements and specifications.

Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to gather information about the application.
Develop a comprehensive test plan outlining the testing approach, scope, resources, schedule, and deliverables.
Identify test scenarios, test cases, and test data.
Create detailed test cases based on the identified test scenarios and requirements.
Design test data that covers a wide range of scenarios.
Execute test cases and record test results.
Report and track defects, working closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.
Develop and maintain automated test scripts for regression testing.

Skill Set Requirement

proficiency in programming languages for writing automated test scripts (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript).
Knowledge of various testing methodologies, including manual testing, automated testing, performance testing, and security testing.
Proficiency in using test management tools for test case management, execution, and reporting (e.g., Jira, TestRail, HP ALM).
Ability to write and execute SQL queries for database testing.
