Job Opening - Branch Audit - Leading Bank, Chennai

JD Plan the audits allotted in an optimum way, analyse the pre audit reports, conduct audits of Retail branch (Liability & asset branches) assigned on a periodic basis within TAT. Maintain a comprehensive record of all audit work/back papers containing evidence, findings and follow-ups made. Communicate audit findings in error-free audit reports through the designated audit tool within the prescribed timeframe. Immediate bringing the serious issues to the notice of controllers/raising red flags, identifying control/process gaps, violation to the policy/regulatory guidelines, Follow up with auditees to obtain satisfactory responses to the audit findings with root cause, corrective and preventive action and ensuring applicable evidences are uploaded in the audit tool along with any other actionable items within TAT, in a timely manner. Foster cordial interpersonal relationships with cross-functional verticals/departments and effectively communicate to enhance effectiveness and efficiency. Qualifications & Experience: Education: Bachelors/Masters degree in any related discipline. Preferred Certifications: Audit/compliance related certification or any equivalent certification in auditing. Experience: 5-10+ years of experience in branch banking risk assessment, or compliance, including a minimum of 5 years of experience in retail branch audits(Liability and assets). Knowledge & Skills: Strong knowledge Branch operations(both liabilities & assets) Good understanding of RBI regulations and other regulatory bodies. Strong working knowledge in MS Office is mandatory and Power BI preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail and ability to identify gaps, operational risks. Good communication and report-writing skills. Knowledge of local language and English is required Ability to work independently and collaborate with auditees Willing to undertake frequent travel Mandatory: Candidate who have experience in Banking and NBFC company only should apply.
