Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Finance Operations Consultant to embed within our operations team. This role involves understanding and streamlining financial processes, mentoring team members, and supporting client operations through innovative problem-solving and expert financial analysis. The ideal candidate will be proactive, analytical, and capable of managing complex financial tasks while fostering a collaborative team environment.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly management accounts, including accruals, prepayments, and journal entries.
• Conduct detailed variance analysis and deliver insightful commentary to client stakeholders.
• Ensure timely and accurate month-end book closures.
• Generate reports for P&L, operating expenses (Opex), capital expenditure (Capex), and balance sheet.
• Reconcile key balance sheet accounts, including intercompany transactions.
• Liaise with UK-based clients on financial queries, reviews, and ad hoc requests.
• Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and board reporting packs.
• Assist with audit queries and maintain audit-ready documentation.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within the team.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with AP/AR teams to ensure smooth month-end reporting.
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding deliverables, delays, and enhancements.
• Deliver consistent, audit-compliant reporting with strong analytical insights.
• Adapt swiftly to changes in reporting structures or chart of accounts.

Must haves:

• 3+ year(s) of post-qualification experience with RTR/management Accounts
• Excellent with communication
• Should have good experience into MS Excel

Qualifications

• MBA/M.com/ CA/ACCA/CMA/CFA
