Jira Administrator

Job Title: Jira Admin

Experience: 8 - 10 years (minimum 6 years of relevant JIRA Admin experience)

Location: Hyderabad (Work From Office)

Working Hours: 12.00pm IST to 9.00pm IST

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and identify opportunities to enhance JIRA, Aha and related add-ons.
• Configure and maintain JIRA, Aha workflows, screen schemes, custom fields, and project templates to reflect organizational processes.
• Manage user access, groups, and permissions in accordance with security and compliance policies.
• Develop custom scripts and behaviors using

  Script Runner for JIRA Cloud

  .
• Install, upgrade, and support plugins, integrations, and custom scripts (e.g., gadgets, webhooks).
• Automate integrations between JIRA and tools such as

  Aha, ServiceNow

  , and

  Security Vulnerability Management platforms

  .
• Monitor system performance, capacity, and uptime; proactively troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Create and maintain dashboards, filters, reports, and gadgets to provide visibility into key metrics.
• Provide training, documentation, and hands-on support to end users.
• Integrate JIRA with external systems via REST APIs, webhooks, and marketplace apps.
• Partner with Agile coaches, development, QA, and operations teams to align JIRA configuration with Scrum/Kanban practices and CI/CD pipelines.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience migrating small to mid-sized organizations to JIRA.
• Minimum 6

  years

  as a JIRA Administrator.
• Expertise in

  JIRA Software Cloud

  and

  Script Runner for Cloud

  .
• Strong background in integrating JIRA with tools like

  Aha, ServiceNow, BrowserStack

  , etc.
• Deep understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps toolchains.
• Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and enterprise software upgrade/migration challenges.
• Bachelors degree in

  Computer Science, Engineering, or MIS

  .
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• SaaS delivery experience and agile development background.
