The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing Jira workflows, permissions, automations, and integrations while collaborating with cross-functional teams to support agile project management and ITSM practices.

Job Requirements: Own the end-to-end administration of Jira Software and Confluence, including configuration, optimisation, plugin management, and maintenance. Design and maintain custom Jira workflows, issue types, screen schemes, permission and notification schemes tailored to cross-functional teams. Develop and maintain automation rules and triggers to improve productivity and reduce manual efforts using Jira Automation and webhooks. Implement and manage custom dashboards and advanced reports for sprint, quality, and delivery tracking. Integrate Jira with other tools and platforms (Slack, Confluence, Outlook, etc.) for seamless project and communication workflows. Support the Quality Management function using Jira including tracking of nonconformances, root cause analysis, and CAPA documentation. Guide internal teams in Agile adoption using Scrum and Kanban boards, along with backlog hygiene and sprint discipline. Support new project onboarding, including creating templates, project configuration, and access setup. Perform periodic audits of Jira projects to ensure data integrity, configuration compliance, and proper usage. Maintain Jira user access control, project permissions, and security schemes, ensuring least privilege access and policy enforcement. Monitor and improve Jira and Confluence security configurations, including plugin control, data privacy, and user role management. Ensure data security and compliance by managing sensitive project data visibility, backup schedules, and retention policies. Track and resolve incidents, bugs, and enhancement requests related to Jira and Confluence. Collaborate with developers, testers, and managers to evolve Jira usage as per business needs. 2 to 4 years of experience as an Atlassian Admin (JIRA Cloud, Jira service Management and Confluence). Strong knowledge of system administration, configuration, and customization of Atlassian tools. Experienced in JIRA Customization with Workflow Schemes, workflows, Permissions, User/Group access controls, Notifications, Screens, Fields, issue types, Various Other Scheme Settings, post functions/validators with workflow transitions, custom Configurations with add-ons/plug-ins. Excellent understanding of SDLC Methodologies like Agile. Experience in using Custom charts, analyzing data, and creating reports.
