Jira Administrator

As a JIRA administrator at our rapidly growing company, your primary responsibilities will include: - Coordinating with primary JIRA Administrator to plan, schedule, implement, and communicate JIRA & plug-in upgrades in accordance with established policies and procedures - Monitoring JIRA databases and copying data from PROD to TEST instance, when requested - Working with JIRA to enable custom workflows, screens, fields, and dashboards - Training end users on JIRA features during project deployments and ongoing support - Architecting and administering JIRA deployment, focusing on providing a platform for Housing units to administer, track, and report on department-wide projects and issues - Working independently with stakeholders and clients to design and deliver JIRA workflows to meet business requirements - Analysing current JIRA configurations and migrating to new instances - Providing/configuring JIRA for manual processes - Coding, testing, and debugging new software/applications or making enhancements to existing software/applications and providing solutions using JIRA - Creating, copying, and administering JIRA projects Qualifications required for this role: - Bachelors Degree in Engineering, CS, MIS, or commensurate work experience in a related field - Proficiency in Linux, DB administration, and JVM tuning - Ability to create complex JIRA workflows, screen schemes, permission schemes, and notification schemes - Support, compile, and troubleshoot Atlassian tools - Working with stakeholders on customizing JIRA workflow - Planning, evaluating, deploying, operating, and maintaining tools to suit the expanding user-base,
