Job Description

Leads the shipyard's finance and accounting function, ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong cost control, regulatory compliance, and effective financial planning to support operational and strategic decisions.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
Manage accounting operations and ensure timely financial statements.
Control project-wise costs for shipbuilding, conversion, and repair jobs.
Handle treasury, cash flow, banking facilities, LC/BG, and working capital.
Ensure compliance with taxation, audit, and regulatory requirements.
Support pricing, tender evaluations, and milestone invoicing.
Coordinate with procurement for material and inventory cost control.
Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounts team.

Qualifications

CA / CPA / ACCA / CMA or equivalent.
2025 years of progressive experience in finance, with significant exposure to shipyards, marine engineering, EPC, or heavy manufacturing industries.
Strong expertise in project accounting, costing, and financial controls.
