Jewellery Sales Assistant

Role Overview: You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support in a retail jewellery environment to ensure each customer receives a memorable and personalized shopping experience. Your role will involve assisting with sales, product knowledge, store presentation, and day-to-day operations. Key Responsibilities: - Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting jewellery items based on their needs and preferences. - Provide detailed information about products, including materials, stones, pricing, and care instructions. - Meet or exceed individual and store sales targets through effective sales techniques. - Build and maintain strong customer relationships through follow-ups and excellent service. - Handle customer queries and complaints professionally and efficiently. - Ensure displays are clean, well-stocked, and attractively presented at all times. - Assist with stock management, including receiving, tagging, and restocking items. - Keep up-to-date with the latest product knowledge, promotions, and store policies. - Support in maintaining store cleanliness and security procedures. Qualification Required: - Proven retail sales experience, preferably in luxury or jewellery retail. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Customer-focused with a professional and friendly demeanor. - Attention to detail and high level of personal presentation. - Ability to work under pressure and meet sales targets. - Basic computer and POS system skills. - Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and shift patterns as required. Desirable Qualifications: - Certification or training in jewellery or gemology (preferred, not essential). - Multilingual abilities are an advantage.
