Java Software Engineer

As a Java Software Engineer at our company in Mohali, your role involves developing and maintaining Java-based applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams, writing clean and efficient code, implementing RESTful APIs, participating in code reviews, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring application performance, security, and scalability. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain Java-based applications in accordance with project requirements. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business and technical requirements. - Write clean, scalable, and efficient code following best practices. - Implement and consume RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services. - Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing. - Troubleshoot and debug issues, providing timely resolutions. - Ensure application performance, security, and scalability. Required Skills & Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - 2+ years of hands-on experience in Java development. - Strong knowledge of Core Java and OOP concepts. - Experience with J2EE components such as Servlets, JSP, and JDBC. - Proficiency in Spring Framework (Spring Boot, MVC, Security). - Familiarity with Hibernate or JPA for ORM. - Working knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services. - Experience with tools such as Git, Maven/Gradle, and any CI/CD tools. - Good understanding of relational databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle. - Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in an Agile environment. Nice-to-Have Skills: - Knowledge of Microservices architecture. - Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). - Experience with unit testing frameworks like JUnit or TestNG. - Familiarity with Docker and containerized deployment.,
