Java Software Engineer

to join our team full-time in India.

About the role:

As a Java Software Engineer, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow.

We are seeking a Java Software Engineer with 3 5 years of experience to join a dynamic and collaborative engineering team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work across both backend and frontend technologies, contributing to the development of scalable applications in a financial services environment. You will work closely with senior engineers, gaining hands-on experience and building a solid foundation in enterprise software engineering.

Responsibilities

Development of backend microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and REST APIs
Contribute to frontend development using Angular (13+), HTML, CSS, and TypeScript
Write and optimize SQL queries against Oracle databases
Participate in writing unit tests and performing basic debugging and troubleshooting
Collaborate with team members during Agile/Scrum ceremonies and support the delivery of sprint goals
Follow best practices in version control, code reviews, and documentation
Learn and grow under the guidance of experienced team members in a structured Agile environment

Requirements

3 5 years of experience in full-stack development (internships and project experience may be considered)
Familiarity with Java, RESTful APIs, and Oracle SQL
Exposure to Angular or other modern JavaScript frameworks
Basic understanding of software development lifecycle and CI/CD pipelines
Strong willingness to learn, adapt, and contribute in a team setting
Good problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset
Effective communication skills in English (both written and verbal)

Desirable

Exposure to Spring Boot, MongoDB, Redis, or GraphQL
Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Awareness of SAFe Agile or other scaled agile frameworks
