Java Production Support

Key Skills:

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Provide L2 production support for applications, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Utilize strong Linux skills to manage and troubleshoot file system-related issues.
• Write and execute basic SQL queries, including joins, sub-queries, DMLs, and DDLs.
• Monitor application performance using tools such as Splunk and Dynatrace.
• Collaborate with ITSM processes and tools to manage incidents and service requests.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and other DevOps tools.
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to resolve issues promptly.
• Stay updated with cloud technologies and automation tools like Chef and Puppet/XLR.

Skills Required:

• Strong expertise in Java programming and troubleshooting production issues.
• Proficient in Linux/Unix administration, including shell scripting and file system management.
• Hands-on experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Git, Maven, and Ansible.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like Splunk, Dynatrace, or similar APM tools.
• Experience working with ITSM tools (ServiceNow, Jira) for incident and change management.
• Basic knowledge of SQL queries, DML, DDL, and performance optimization.
• Understanding of cloud applications and deployment (AWS, Azure, or GCP preferred).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
