Java .Net Development Manager

As a Development Manager at Aristocrat, your role is crucial in maintaining the highest quality of software deployments and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Here's what you'll be responsible for: - Enable frequent software deployments of high quality to release value - Implement Agile development and software engineering guidelines - Define, own, and communicate delivery benchmarks - Drive continuous improvement within your teams and department - Plan, track, and communicate delivery achievements - Lead recruitment activity and adjust staffing strategy - Promote collaboration with other business areas and teams - Cultivate a learning environment and facilitate career progression - Undertake regular line management activities for direct and indirect reports - Support the flow of communications within the team - Actively promote an inclusive working environment - Track and validate costs and align with Target Architecture What We're Looking For: - Proficient knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodology and Agile software engineering practices and tools - Theoretical knowledge or practical experience with Agile at scale - Experience in DevOps organizations implementing practices like continuous delivery and automation - Strong knowledge of XP working methodologies and teamwork in programming - Excellent leadership, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills - Application of planning and estimation techniques, tracking benchmarks, and conducting engaging meetings - Technical background with hands-on experience and proficiency in agile/efficiency tools - Critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and adaptability to evolving business needs Desirable Skills & Experience: - Proven experience of 14+ years, including 5+ years in a managerial role - Proficiency in solving dynamic problems with creative solutions - Experience with high-volume products and managing offshore/onshore teams - Experience in the gaming domain and Agile environment - Proficiency with tools like Lucid or Monday.com is desirable Aristocrat is a world leader in gaming content and technology, committed to bringing joy to the lives of millions through the power of play.
