As a Java Microservices Developer at our company, you will have the following responsibilities: - Develop, test, debug, and document Java/Spring Boot applications following best practices and coding standards. - Design and implement RESTful APIs and integrate with other enterprise systems. - Contribute to solution architecture, including object-oriented design, microservices patterns, event-driven systems, and cloud-native applications. - Work with MongoDB for schema design, aggregation, and performance optimization. - Implement containerized solutions using Docker/Kubernetes and deploy on cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP). - Participate in CI/CD pipelines using tools like Maven, Gradle, and Git-based version control. - Review and mentor team members on coding standards, design patterns, and application security. - Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, QA, and other teams to ensure high-quality deliverables. - Troubleshoot production issues and provide ongoing maintenance support. - Document solutions, code, and processes; provide technical guidance and presentations to stakeholders. The qualifications and skills required for this role include: - Strong proficiency in Java (Java 8 or higher) and Spring Boot microservices architecture. - Hands-on experience with MongoDB, including schema design, aggregation framework, and performance tuning. - Strong knowledge of RESTful API design and integration. - Expertise in object-oriented design, microservices, event-driven architecture, and cloud-native application patterns. - Familiarity with containerization using Docker/Kubernetes and cloud deployment (AWS/Azure/GCP). - Proficient in build tools such as Maven/Gradle, CI/CD pipelines, and Git-based version control. - Knowledge of front-end integration (React/Angular) is a plus. - Ability to lead medium to large development teams and manage multiple stakeholders. - Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
