Java Developer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable and maintainable Java applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Develop RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party systems and services.
• Write well-designed, testable, and efficient code using best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and continuous integration.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications in development and production environments.
• Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and reliability.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Java trends, frameworks, and tools.
  

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience in Java development.
• Strong knowledge of Java 8 or higher and the Spring ecosystem (Spring Boot, Spring Data, etc.).
• Experience with RESTful APIs, Microservices architecture, and modern web services.
• Familiarity with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and ORM frameworks (Hibernate, JPA).
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools (Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies like JavaScript, React, or Angular is a plus.
• Exposure to message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
