Role Description

SkillzenLoop is looking for a detail-oriented Java Developer Intern to join our backend engineering team. This role focuses on building high-performance, scalable, and secure applications. You will gain hands-on experience in Java-based enterprise development, learning how to write production-grade code while working within a collaborative, remote professional environment.

Primary Responsibilities

• Application Development: Assist in designing and developing Java-based applications and microservices.

• API Integration: Support the team in building and maintaining RESTful web services and integrating them with front-end components.

• Database Management: Write and optimize SQL queries and assist in data persistence using frameworks like Hibernate or JPA.

• Code Quality: Participate in code reviews, write unit tests using JUnit, and help maintain technical documentation.

• Troubleshooting: Assist in identifying, debugging, and resolving software defects to ensure system stability.

Requirements

• Education: Currently pursuing or a recent graduate of a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related engineering field.

• Core Skills: Strong foundational knowledge of Core Java (OOPs, Collections, Multithreading, and Exception Handling).

• Frameworks: Familiarity with Spring or Spring Boot is a significant plus.

• Tools: Basic experience with Git for version control and build tools like Maven or Gradle.

• Problem Solving: A logical approach to solving complex problems and a keen interest in backend architecture.
