Location: Chennai/DLF IT Park Notice period: Immediate to 45 days We are looking for a Senior Java Engineer with experience using Spring Boot to build micro services to work in an agile team. You will be working for one of our Direct Client who is one of the top financial company in the global market. The work will be highly rewarding since you will be part of a team that will be working on building innovative and transformational software. What You'll Do: * Deliver features for backend development in an agile team * Learn how to build applications using client's in-house frameworks * Collaborate with product owners to understand business needs and participate in refining stories * Embrace code review, pair programming, and process innovation to better yourself and the team * Optimize code for accessibility, performance, availability * Increase the confidence in our deployments by writing tests, contributing to reliability frameworks, and finding automation opportunities * Investigate and resolve production issues taking help from SRE team * Innovate and implement new technologies in an effort to improve our team and applications Qualifications: * Deliver features for backend development in an agile team * 5+ years experience in Java, Spring boot & Microservices application development * Object Oriented programming and common design patterns * Hands-on experience building Restful web service with Spring Boot * Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL and ORM technologies * Hands on experience with GIT * Familiar with CI/CD * Experience in writing unit and integration test using testing framework * Knowledge of the Agile approach
