Requisition ID P tracker ID HM Location Skill Level YTR YTR Ravi Vashistha Bangalore Java Developer Level 2 Role Requirement This position is in Security Reference Data Tech at our Bengaluru Office. The candidate will join the global Securities Reference Data Development team tasked with architecting, designing, developing and maintaining the product data interfaces and infrastructure and bringing stability mainly to the Listed Derivatives and Cash Equity flows and processes. Candidate will have an opportunity to work directly with the users, business analyst, translate business requirements into the technical architecture and manage overall deliverables. Further the candidate needs to have strong skills of executing projects and sustaining complex IT applications using well known SDLC methodologies like iterative method, Agile etc. The candidate should expect to work in a global virtual team environment along with Bangalore, Mumbai, London and New York teams. The candidate may be responsible for more than one project at a time. Success in this position requires a range of skills, both interpersonal and technical. It requires a solid foundation across the complete spectrum of software engineering of distributed systems using Java/J2EE as core set of technologies. The candidate should be comfortable working across all the tiers in the proposed solution: RDBMS, batch processes, application servers. The candidate must be a highly proactive, self-motivated, fast learner with strong analytical skills is needed to research solutions and power past technical challenges as they arise. Must be self-confident, intellectually honest, open-minded, helpful and respectful- but also able to passionately and articulately present and defend their ideas and positions. He or she should have at least 3 to 5 years of relevant IT experience, preferably in Financial Services or Wealth Management organization. Qualifications Knowledge and Skills required: At least 3-5 years experience in application development and technical designing. B.Tech/B.E/MCA from premium institute preferred Bachelors/Masters Degree in Engineering, preferably Computer Science/Engineering, from a top tier university Strong inclination towards innovation and efficiency Ability to simultaneously manage multiple engagements, prioritize and resolve complex problems and escalate as necessary, in a deadline oriented environment Well organized and able to work in a fast paced environment Strong sense of ownership and accountability for work Candidate will be required to work with geographically dispersed teams, specially team(s) in New York, London and India (Bangalore /Mumbai) Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, client focus and organizational skills in a team-oriented environment Possess excellent oral and written communication skills Good problem solving skills Tech Skills Required Strong understanding of Java/Python technology Knowledge of open-source frameworks: Spring, Spring Batch, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud) Integration middleware products, Service Oriented Architecture Experience in Cloud Native design including microservices, SPARK, Kafka Experience on any Public Cloud Offering (AWS, Azure, Google) Database Development and Debugging Stored Procedures (Sybase and/or DB2) , NoSQL Experience preferably MongoDB Database Design and Modeling Decent Scripting knowledge (UNIX / Python) Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies Skills Nice to Have Angular ExtJS REST, Ajax
