Role Overview

Java Backend Engineer

You will work closely with frontend, QA, DevOps, and product teams to deliver end-to-end backend solutions while following best practices in software engineering and cloud-native development.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using

  Java and Spring Boot

  .
• Build and manage applications based on

  Microservices architecture

  .
• Develop, expose, and consume

  RESTful APIs

  .
• Ensure

  performance, scalability, reliability, and security

  of backend systems.
• Integrate backend services with

  relational and NoSQL databases

  .
• Participate in

  code reviews, unit testing, debugging, and performance optimization

  .
• Collaborate with

  frontend, QA, DevOps, and product teams

  across the delivery lifecycle.
• Adhere to

  coding standards, design principles, and best practices

  .

Required Skills & Experience

• 36 years of hands-on experience in

  Java backend development

  .
• Strong expertise in

  Core Java

  and

  Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)

  concepts.
• Hands-on experience with

  Spring Boot

  and

  Microservices

  .
• Proven experience developing

  REST APIs

  .
• Good knowledge of

  SQL databases

  (MySQL / PostgreSQL / Oracle).
• Experience with

  Hibernate / JPA

  for ORM.
• Familiarity with

  Git

  or other version control systems.

Nice to Have

• Exposure to

  Cloud platforms

  (AWS / Azure / GCP).
• Experience with

  Docker and Kubernetes

  .
• Knowledge of

  CI/CD pipelines

  and DevOps practices.
• Exposure to

  Kafka / RabbitMQ

  or other messaging systems.
• Experience working in a

  GCC or enterprise product environment

  .

Education

• B.E. / B.Tech

  in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline

  OR

• MCA / M.Sc. Computer Science

  or equivalent technical qualification.
