Job Description: Role Overview: As a Freelance Japanese Translator at Agam Capital, your primary responsibility will be to support the actuarial, finance, and technology teams by translating documents, reports, and communication materials between English and Japanese. Your expertise in the insurance, finance, or technology domains will be crucial in ensuring accuracy, clarity, and consistency across all deliverables. Key Responsibilities: - Translate documents, reports, presentations, and communication materials from English to Japanese and vice versa. - Review and proofread translated content to ensure linguistic accuracy and contextual relevance. - Collaborate with internal teams (actuarial, product, and technology) to understand technical terminology. - Maintain confidentiality of sensitive company and client information. - Meet deadlines for project-based assignments with high-quality deliverables. Qualifications Required: - Proven experience as a Japanese-English translator, preferably in the insurance or finance domain. - Strong grasp of both written and spoken Japanese and English. - Familiarity with financial, actuarial, or technical terminology is a strong plus. - Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle complex subject matter. - Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. - Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments.
