Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Provide
verbal interpretation (consecutive/simultaneous)
during meetings, conferences, training sessions, and client interactions.
Translate
written documents
(e.g., emails, manuals, reports, presentations) from
Japanese to English and vice versa
.
Assist teams in understanding Japanese business practices, documentation, and cultural nuances.
Support Japanese expatriates and local employees in communication-related tasks.
Proofread, review, and edit translations for
accuracy, tone, and context
.
Maintain
confidentiality and accuracy
in all translated materials.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, technical, operations, and management.

Preferred candidate profile

Proficiency in
Japanese and English
(JLPT N2 or higher preferred).
Minimum
2 years of experience
in translation and interpretation.
Strong knowledge of
business terminology
and/or
industry-specific vocabulary
.
Excellent
interpersonal and communication
skills.
Ability to work in
fast-paced and multicultural environments
.
Familiarity with translation tools (e.g., CAT tools, MS Office, etc.) is a plus
