Role & responsibilities Conduct time and motion studies , develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) and establish standard time for various operations. Develop and maintain line balancing , layout optimization , and workstation design . Prepare manpower calculation , capacity planning , and productivity improvement plans. Drive Lean Manufacturing , Kaizen , 5S , and waste elimination initiatives on the shop floor. Support New Product Introduction (NPI) by creating initial layouts and time standards. Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Production, Quality, Maintenance, Planning) for continuous improvement projects . Implement PFMEA , control plans , and error-proofing (Poka-Yoke) solutions. Monitor and improve OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) . Assist in preparing productivity dashboards , IE reports , and management presentations . Support CAPEX planning related to MHEs, workstations, and layout changes. Ensure compliance with safety standards and Factory Act norms for ergonomic design Preferred candidate profile Qualifications and Skills Required: Education: B.E. / B.Tech in Industrial Engineering , Electrical Engineering , Production Engineering , or equivalent. Experience: 1- 3 years of relevant experience in Industrial Engineering within a discrete manufacturing setup , preferably UPS or Electronics assembly industry. Technical Skills: Knowledge of SAP Systems is a plus Hands-on with AutoCAD , Excel , and IE software tools Knowledge of Lean Tools (5S, Kaizen, SMED, VSM) Familiarity with PFMEA, Control Plans, and SOPs Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems is a plus Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and coordination abilities Proactive mindset with a continuous improvement approach Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams Fluency in Marathi

Translate written documents (e.g., emails, manuals, reports, presentations) from Japanese to English and vice versa . Assist teams in understanding Japanese business practices, documentation, and cultural nuances. Support Japanese expatriates and local employees in communication-related tasks. Proofread, review, and edit translations for accuracy, tone, and context . Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in all translated materials. Work closely with cross-functional teams, technical, operations, and management. Preferred candidate profile Proficiency in Japanese and English (JLPT N2 or higher preferred). Minimum 2 years of experience in translation and interpretation. Strong knowledge of business terminology and/or industry-specific vocabulary . Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Key Responsibilities: 1 Should have experience in Industrial Automation knowledge of PLC, SCADA, HMI, DCS, Motors, Drives, Instrumentation, and Panel Designing. 2 Performing the PLC/SCADA detailed engineering, design and development of Application Software, assembly and testing of the PLC/SCADA system as per the Customer requirements. 3 Preparation of Bill of Material for various PLC and DCS packages within project scope. 4 Review of Customer input and generate IOAL, Coordination with Customer Engineers for technical issues. 5 Document Control work for effective project execution 6 Attending Internal Meeting/ Project walk through for achieving Project milestones. 7 Adhering to the Project Schedule Project Quality Plan. 8 Participating site acceptance test, commissioning, and start-up activities 9 Installation, Commissioning of PLC/SCADA/DCS System & Customer Training on PLC/SCADA/DCS topics 10 Willingness to travel to Project Sites. Technical Skills / Knowledge Required 1 Minimum 3 - 5 years of work experience related to PLC/SCADA/DCS system engineering activities. PLC/DCS logic development, HMI/SCADA screen design etc, for automation of Thermal power plants, Captive power plants, Water treatment plants, Boiler plants or any factory automation. 2 Demonstratable working experience in engineering/Customer FAT/commissioning of PLC/DCS system is required. 4 Previous working experience in hardware and/or software engineering of any OEM PLC/DCS system is preferable. 5 Working knowledge of establishing communication/Interface with third party System over Modbus, Profibus and other digital communication bus is desirable. 6 Field commissioning experience related to Power plant; boiler packages is desirable. 7 Good communication skills is must. 8 Familiarity with AutoCAD/Eplan tools is an added advantage.
