Job Description


Job Title: Maintenance Technician Company : Avadale Resorts Department: Maintenance Reports To: Engineering Head. Employment Type: Full-Time


Position Summary: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician to oversee and execute the maintenance and repair of equipment, machinery, and systems within our facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all mechanical and electrical systems are operating efficiently and safely to minimize downtime and maximize productivity. The Maintenance Engineer will work closely with other engineering teams, operations staff, and management to implement preventive maintenance programs and troubleshoot issues as they arise.

Remuneration : Accommodation and all meals will be covered by the company, any travel expenses done for company related work will be covered by the company. In hand salary is negotiable depending upon experience and will be as per industry standards.

Leave : One weekly off

Annual Leave : 30 days (Annually)

Sick Leave : 12 days ( Annually)

Key Responsibilities:
1. Preventive Maintenance: -Implement the preventive maintenance (PM) schedule for all machines, equipment, and facilities, as stipulated by the management. - Keep records of maintenance activities, including inspections, repairs, and upgrades.


2. Equipment Repair: - Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair malfunctions (equipment, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, masonry). - Respond to breakdowns and issues in a timely manner, minimizing downtime. - Work with external vendors and suppliers for major repairs or replacements as needed.


3. Safety and Compliance: Ensure all maintenance activities are performed in compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments on equipment and machinery. Promote and ensure adherence to all Health & Safety guidelines in the workplace.


4. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including parts used, time spent, and work performed. Prepare and submit detailed maintenance reports to management, including any issues or improvements. Track and manage spare parts inventory.


5. Collaboration: Collaborate with the central team to schedule all works without disruptions. Provide technical support and training to the operations team as needed.


6. Project Work: Assist with or lead projects related to new installations, upgrades, or facility improvements. Coordinate with other departments during system installations or changes.

Qualifications:
Education: ITI Graduate with specialization in Electrical and/or Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic. Experience: Minimum of 0 year of experience in maintenance, preferably in the Hotel/Hospitality industry. Technical Skills: Training will be provided for air conditioning systems and other equipment. Proficiency in electrical, mechanical, plumbing and air conditioning systems. Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills. Certifications: Any relevant certifications are a plus.


Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities. Good communication skills and ability to work well in teams. Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks effectively.
