Job Title: ITI Checker – Tube Mill

Location: Bachau, Gujarat
Department: Production / Quality Control
Salary: ₹30,000 – ₹35,000 per month (depending on experience & skill)
Qualification: ITI – Fitter / Turner / Mechanical / Production / Relevant Trade
Experience: 2–5 Years (Tube Mill / Pipe Manufacturing preferred)

Job Responsibilities:

1. Production Line Checking

• Inspect and check tubes/pipes during and after production for size, shape, and surface quality.
• Measure OD, thickness, and length using vernier caliper, micrometer, and measuring tape.
• Identify and segregate defective or rejected materials as per quality standards.

2. Process Monitoring

• Ensure machine operators maintain process parameters (speed, feed, thickness, welding quality).
• Monitor tube forming, welding, sizing, and cutting operations for consistent output.
• Support line supervisor in maintaining smooth tube mill operation.

3. Quality Control

• Conduct visual and dimensional inspection at every stage of tube production.
• Record inspection results and report deviations to the shift in-charge.
• Follow ISO / QA / internal SOPs for documentation and traceability.

4. Equipment & Safety

• Ensure all gauges and instruments are calibrated and in working condition.
• Follow all safety guidelines (PPE, housekeeping, machine guarding).
• Assist in preventive maintenance and report any abnormality immediately.

Skills Required:

• Knowledge of Tube Mill process (forming, welding, cutting, finishing).
• Proficient in measuring instruments (Vernier, Micrometer, etc.).
• Understanding of quality standards (IS/ASTM).
• Basic mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work in shifts (day/night).
