The Opportunity:

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for Handling IT & Desktop Support activities.
  • Should provide technical support for both hardware and software issues to our users/employees encounter specifically systems and laptop.
  • Should Coordinating & Managing ticket queues for PPPPL.
  • Manage the configuration and operation of computer operating systems
  • Monitor the system daily and respond immediately to security or usability activity.
  • Create, verify and monitor backups of data.
  • Determining departmental IT related priorities & Assisting in the solutions. • Monitoring email usage & use of social media • Ensuring the IT policy is strictly followed.
  • Respond to and resolve help desk requests.
  • Managing the IT Assets & its records. Supporting in resolving IT related queries for employees.
  • Designing and implementing efficient error reporting and feedback systems • Upgrade systems and processes as required for enhanced functionality.
  • Administrate infrastructure, including firewalls, databases, malware protection software and other processes.
  • Install and test computer-related equipment Prepare & submit periodic reports & MIS.
  • The volume of IT support is limited at preset therefore you should be ready to perform the other duties as required with technical teams or Admin & HR.

Skills Required:

  • Hardware Troubleshooting: Ability to diagnose and fix hardware-related issues like malfunctioning printers, desktops, and network devices.
  • Software Support: Proficiency with operating systems (Windows, MacOS, Linux), applications, and troubleshooting software-related issues.
  • Networking Basics: Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Remote Support Tools: Familiarity with remote desktop tools (e.g., TeamViewer, AnyDesk) to provide support to users remotely.
  • Active Directory Management: Managing user accounts, permissions, and group policies.
  • Security Practices: Basic understanding of cybersecurity, including firewalls, antivirus software, and data encryption
  • Should be good in Communication, Problem-Solving, Patience, Customer Service Orientation and Time Management
