IT Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in fabrication, assembly, installation, and commissioning of mechanical equipment and process plants.
• Support engineers during pilot plant, chemical process plant, and system installations.
• Perform routine maintenance, servicing, and breakdown repairs at customer sites.
• Assist in installation and testing of:
• Pilot Plants
• Gold Refining Plants
• Distillation & Fractional Distillation Units
• Liquid-Liquid Extraction Units
• Mixer-Settler Extraction Units
• Glass Reactors & Mixing Vessels
• Solvent Recovery & Gas Absorption Systems
• HCL Gas Generation Plants
• Solvent Recovery Plants (Herbs, Essential Oils, Flowers)
• Follow engineering drawings, layouts, and work instructions provided by the design team.
• Assist in pipe fitting, equipment alignment, assembly, and mechanical erection.
• Ensure safety procedures and quality standards are followed during work.
• Coordinate with production, fabrication, and installation teams on daily tasks.
• Support testing, trial runs, and commissioning activities.
• Attend customer maintenance calls and provide technical support under guidance.
• Maintain basic records of work, service reports, and site activities.
• Travel to customer sites for installation, commissioning, and service work as required.
• Report issues, defects, or improvement suggestions to senior engineers.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and workshop cleanliness.

Key Requirements

• ITI (Mechanical / Fitter / Turner / Welder or relevant trade)
• 1 to 5 years of experience in:
• Mechanical installation
• Maintenance
• Chemical process plants or industrial equipment (preferred)
• Basic knowledge of:
• Mechanical systems
• Pumps, vessels, pipelines, valves
• Industrial safety practices
• Ability to read basic mechanical drawings.
• Willingness to travel to project sites.
• Physically fit for site and field work.
