IT Support Officer

Role & responsibilities

Being the first line for troubleshooting system and network problems.

• Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks for ensuring the smooth run
• Installing and configuring computer hardware operating systems and applications

• Monitoring the system utilization

• Manage, track, and prioritize support tickets through the IT helpdesk system.

• Documenting system configurations and IT procedures • Managing user accounts and access controls.

• Coordinating with vendors for equipment , software and Infrastructure support.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Responsible for all IT assets including Software Asset Management and ensuring the IT Asset Register at all times reflects an accurate data of IT assets including leased assets
• Deliver advisory services to the business areas within the infrastructure domain globally
• Base location in plant and handling India remote IT operations

Preferred candidate profile

3 years of experience in IT support, helpdesk, or system administration roles.

Skills & Competencies:

• Troubleshooting system and network problems.
• Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks
• Installing and configuring computer hardware
• Hands-on knowledge of IT infrastructure domains: Systems, Networking, Databases, Middleware, Platforms, and Cloud technologies. • Strong knowledge of Windows and MacOS environments, Microsoft 365, and common business applications
