Job Description

Role & responsibilities:

Hardware Support:

Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, POS systems, and KOT printers.
Maintain and repair IT equipment used in front office, kitchen, and back-office areas.
Coordinate with vendors for hardware repairs and replacements.

Network Support:

Handle basic LAN/WAN troubleshooting, router/switch configuration, and connectivity issues.
Ensure uptime of internet connections, Wi-Fi access points, and internal communication networks.
Support setup of VLANs, IP configurations, and network printers.

System & Application Support:

Support restaurant software (e.g., POS, inventory, and billing systems).
Troubleshoot basic application-level errors in POS or back-office systems.
Coordinate with central IT or software vendors for unresolved issues.

Preventive Maintenance:

Conduct routine system and network health checks.
Maintain IT asset records and ensure proper tagging and documentation.

User Support:

Provide prompt technical assistance to staff for IT-related issues.
Guide team members on basic troubleshooting procedures.

Preferred candidate profile

Diploma / Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
1–3 years of experience in hardware and network support (hospitality experience preferred).
Good knowledge of Windows OS, basic networking, and troubleshooting tools.
Familiarity with POS systems, printers, routers, and switches.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Willingness to work flexible hours or shifts if required.
