IT Support Engineer || Agra || Retail Customer

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide

  L1/L2 technical support

  to Retails sector users across store locations and back-office operations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve

  hardware, software, network, and POS-related issues

  within defined SLAs.
• Manage installation, configuration, and maintenance of desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and peripherals.
  
• Ensure proper functioning of

  store IT infrastructure

  including internet, LAN/WAN, switches, routers, and firewalls.
• Support

  POS (Point of Sale) systems

  , billing applications, and integration with backend servers.
• Coordinate with vendors and higher-level IT teams for escalated issues.
  
• Maintain incident logs, asset inventory, and service reports.
  
• Assist in

  new store IT setup

  , including cabling, device configuration, and network readiness.
• Provide user training and technical guidance when required.
  
• Ensure

  data security, regular backups

  , and adherence to IT policies and compliance standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in IT / Computer Science / Engineering or equivalent.
  
• 2–5 years of experience in

  IT Support / Desktop Support / Field Support

  roles.
• Strong troubleshooting knowledge of

  Windows OS, MS Office, printers, and networking fundamentals

  .
• Experience with

  POS systems and retail IT environment

  preferred.
• Familiarity with

  Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, and remote access tools

  .
• Good communication and customer-handling skills.
  
• Ability to work independently and travel to multiple store locations as required.
