IT Support Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities:

· Act as the first point of contact for all IT-related queries, via phone, email, or in person.

· Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, operating systems, and applications.

· Monitor and maintain networks, servers, printers, and other IT infrastructure.

· Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.

· Escalate complex problems to senior IT staff or vendors when necessary.

· Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights in Active Directory/Office 365.

· Ensure data security and compliance with IT policies.

· Assist with system upgrades, patches, and routine maintenance.

· Document technical issues and create knowledge base articles for future reference.

· Provide IT induction and training sessions to new employees.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support IT projects and implementations.

Key Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

· Proven experience as an IT Support Engineer, IT Helpdesk, or similar role.

· Strong knowledge of Windows/Mac OS, Office 365, and networking fundamentals.

· Hands-on experience with hardware troubleshooting and system installations.

· Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices.

· Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.

· Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
