IT Specialist

You are an enthusiastic and dependable IT Support Assistant with a keen interest in computer networking. Your role involves maintaining and troubleshooting local area networks (LAN) while gaining hands-on experience in IT infrastructure. You will be responsible for tasks such as cable crimping, device setup, and network troubleshooting. Your key responsibilities include assisting in maintaining LAN systems, supporting physical network setup, responding to technical support requests, and helping with hardware/software setup. You will also be required to support weekend tasks, upgrades, or maintenance windows as needed, and document technical procedures and issue resolutions. To excel in this role, you should have a basic knowledge of networking concepts such as IP addressing, switches, and routers. Your eagerness to learn crimping, cabling, and practical networking tasks will be an asset. Strong problem-solving skills, initiative-taking ability, good communication skills, and a team-oriented attitude are also essential for this position. Additionally, you must be willing to work the 3:30 PM shift and provide support on Saturdays/weekends when required. This is a full-time position that requires in-person work at the specified location.,
