Job Description

Role Overview

The Sales Hunter Cloud Software will be responsible for identifying, pursuing, and closing new business opportunities for cloud-based products and services. This is a high-impact, target-driven role that requires a self-motivated professional with strong client acquisition skills and deep understanding of cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP, or SaaS).

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute a new business acquisition strategy focused on cloud software and related services.

Identify potential clients across industries and proactively generate leads through networking, cold calls, and industry events.

Present and demonstrate cloud solutions to C-level executives and technology decision-makers.

Collaborate with solution architects and delivery teams to create customized proposals and RFP responses.

Negotiate commercial terms and close deals to achieve or exceed quarterly revenue targets.

Maintain an accurate sales pipeline using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).

Stay up to date with emerging cloud trends, pricing models, and competitor offerings.

Required Skills & Competencies

Strong track record of hunting and closing new business in the IT services or cloud solutions space.

Excellent understanding of public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), SaaS models, and subscription-based sales.

Strong consultative selling and solution articulation skills.

Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business; MBA preferred.

12 years of experience in enterprise software or IT services sales, with at least 3 years focused on cloud solutions.

Proven experience in new client acquisition, pipeline building, and quota achievement.

Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, or GCP fundamentals) are a plus.Role & responsibilities
