ATM Service Engineer’s Job Responsibilities:

Technical Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and test ATMs, cash recyclers, and other self-service banking machines.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure machines run smoothly.
• Troubleshoot and repair hardware and software issues in ATMs (e.g., card reader, cash dispenser, printer, network).
• Replace faulty parts such as sensors, cassettes, rollers, and power supplies.
• Upgrade ATM software, firmware, and security patches as required.
• Ensure proper cash loading and balancing during servicing (in some roles).

Operational Responsibilities

• Respond to service calls within the defined SLA (Service Level Agreement).
• Record and document all service activities, parts used, and issues resolved.
• Coordinate with the operations team and cash management team for ATM uptime.
• Report recurring issues to higher technical support or OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer).

Security & Compliance Responsibilities

• Ensure ATMs comply with bank and regulatory standards.
• Follow safety and security guidelines while handling ATM hardware and software.
• Maintain confidentiality of ATM software keys, passwords, and access codes.
• Report any suspicious activities or attempted tampering.

Customer & Team Support

• Interact with bank staff or vendors to resolve issues smoothly.
• Train junior technicians or support staff if required.
• Provide feedback to management for continuous improvement of services.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
