IT Sales and Marketing Consultant

IT Sales Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Lead Generation & Prospecting

• Identify and generate leads through cold calling, networking, emails, and events.
  
• Research potential clients and understand their business needs.
  

2. Client Meetings & Demos

• Schedule and conduct product presentations, demonstrations, or solution walkthroughs.
  
• Tailor solutions to meet client needs.
  

3. Solution Selling

• Understand technical products (software, hardware, IT services) and explain their benefits.
  
• Position the product as a solution to the client's problem.
  

4. Proposal & Quotation Preparation

• Prepare commercial proposals, quotations, and respond to RFPs (Request for Proposals).
  
• Negotiate pricing and contract terms.
  

5. Sales Closure & Onboarding

• Finalize deals, ensure proper documentation, and coordinate client onboarding.
  

6. Client Relationship Management

• Maintain long-term relationships with existing clients for upselling and renewals.
  

7. Sales Reporting

• Maintain CRM (like Salesforce, Zoho CRM) to track opportunities and client interactions.
  
• Report on pipeline status, forecasts, and performance.
