IT Officer

Key Responsibilities:

· Monitor and ensure network and data security, including firewalls, antivirus software, and data protection measures.

· Troubleshoot and resolve IT-related issues promptly.

· Maintain IT documentation, including system configurations, asset management, and user guides.

· Ensure regular data backups and implement disaster recovery plans.

· Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for IT-related procurement and maintenance.

· Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, networks, and software applications.

· Provide technical support and training to employees regarding IT systems and tools.

· Ensure compliance with IT policies, best practices, and industry standards.

· Research and recommend new technology solutions to improve efficiency and security.

· Support software development, system upgrades, and IT project implementations.

Key Requirements

· Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

· Proven experience in IT support, network administration, or a similar role.

· Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux, MacOS) and IT infrastructure.

· Experience with cloud computing, cybersecurity, and database management.

· Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.

· Strong understanding of IT security protocols and risk management.

· Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA A+, ITIL, or Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) are a plus.
