IT Network Engineer

You are an experienced and proactive IT Support professional with a strong background in networking, looking to join our team in Dewas. Your role as an IT Support - Networking specialist will involve providing technical assistance, managing network infrastructure, and resolving connectivity issues to ensure the smooth operations of our organization's network systems. Your key responsibilities will include maintaining and monitoring the network, troubleshooting network systems such as LAN/WAN, routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points. You will ensure network uptime and minimal disruptions by proactively identifying and addressing network issues. Regular maintenance tasks like updates, patches, and system backups will be performed to ensure network security and stability. You will provide tier 1 and tier 2 technical support to internal users for network-related issues, resolving hardware, software, and network issues in a timely manner. You will also assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of network hardware and software, supporting the setup of network devices and managing VPN, remote access, and secure connections for remote workers. Monitoring and enforcing network security protocols will be crucial, including setting up firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and securing Wi-Fi networks. Regular audits and security checks will be performed to prevent vulnerabilities and breaches. You will document network configurations, updates, and changes for future reference and troubleshooting, maintaining logs of network issues and resolutions, and generating reports on network health and issues for management. Collaboration with other IT teams to ensure the smooth integration of network infrastructure with other IT systems and services is essential. You will assist in training end-users on basic network troubleshooting and stay updated with emerging network technologies and trends to ensure the network infrastructure remains competitive and secure.
